1:15pm to 3:15pm.
Over this nine-week course, writers will work with prompts from patrons who have been asked to share their memories of visiting the Arts Centre over the last 25 years. We will then create an anthology of work and share the stories alongside an immersive sound scape in the Gallery.
These sessions are designed for adult writers of all ages to find their voice in a relaxed environment. There aren’t any grade requirements or qualifications, and you don’t need any previous experience. All you need is something to write on, something to write with, and something you want to say.
This activity has been funded by “East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Do it for East Yorkshire Community Grant”
The sessions will run from 9 January – 6 March.
Please note: Although the sessions run as a course, you must book a place on each class. Suggested donation: £15.
