Textile and Mixed-Media Portraits by Holly Capstick

An exhibition of portrait work that explores the layers of our beauty and character.  Using a combination of mixed-media and textile techniques, this body of work celebrates captured expressions and snapshots of moments in everyday life.

Come along to the FREE Meet the Artist and Welcome Evening on Friday 7th February 6-8pm (booking required, free entry). With opportunity to look at the work with a complementary glass of wine and the option to stay for a 15 min talk from artist Holly Capstick about the work and her processes, followed by a 20 min demo and Q&A opportunity.  Book a free place via Eventbrite here Artist Holly Capstick is also tutor for Thread and Press CIC and will be running some portrait-themed workshops in February for adults and children.

Please note: the studio will be closed to the public 2.00pm-3.00pm Tuesday, all day Wednesday, and 10.00am-12.00pm Thursday.
