Waterlilies At Burnby Hall Gardens – A Celebration

Tue 1 Jul 10.00am

As part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations, we have collaborated with Burnby Hall Gardens to invite local artists to participate in a response to our Landscape Painting Challenge hosted by East Yorkshire’s own Artist and Broadcaster Phil White. The resulting pieces represent a breathtaking collection of responses to this theme across a wide array of mediums – oils, watercolour, pastels, acrylic, photography, textiles and felting.

Thanks to local photographer, Neil Barrett, we have also included a selection of reportage style images capturing the participants of the event in June to tell the story of how the final pieces were developed throughout the day.

Pieces are individually priced for art lovers to hold on to the uplifting magic of these rare waterlilies to be enjoyed long after their blooms fade.

The exhibition will run until the end of July with a preview evening at 5:00pm-6:00pm on Tuesday 8 July.
