Geoff Hewitt lives in Willerby. He is a member of the East Riding Artists, a workshop tutor, demonstrator and commissioned artist. Working predominantly in oils, he exhibits his work widely and has gained several awards for his drawings and paintings.

‘I am driven to seek the extraordinary in the everyday, to relate the hidden story in the commonplace, to explore the momentary glance and to give voice to the unsaid. This is a world of rumour, humour and gossip, of the passage of time, of love and of life.’
