‘Paintings and drawings for a new creative direction‘

Phil is an award-winning radio presenter, producer and senior manager – you might know him from his BBC Radio shows, many of which were broadcast from Burnby Hall and Gardens, Pocklington School, Fangfoss or indeed the Pocklington Arts Centre. 

He is a talented painter who is currently expanding his art practice to include 3D and sound elements as part of his work. This exhibition however features smaller works in oil and examples of works on paper that have seen Phil recently experimenting with line and shape, using a palette knife and watercolour paint. 

Phil trained as a theatre designer and he sings counter tenor in a male acapella chorus.
