Join us for a fun filled afternoon all about our beautiful buzzy friends – the bees!
There will be an Easy Beesy craft workshop run by our wonderful community artist, Kate Noble, where you will have the chance to get creative and make beautiful springtime crafts.
We also have a range of activities based around the book ‘Betsy Buglove Saves the Bees’ by local Pocklington author, Catherine Jacob, so look out for a bug hunt and other themed fun!
Sandwiched in between all of the bee-tastic fun, is a FREE show of Storytime with Hannah and Patrick, reading ‘Betsy Buglove Saves the Bees’, to get you fully immersed in Betsy’s world and how important bees are to our wildlife.
To top it all off, Catherine Jacob will be here for the duration of the event, selling signed copies of ‘Betsy Buglove Saves the Bees’, so don’t miss the opportunity to meet the author behind this beautiful story.
Please note, as you book tickets, you will choose the order of your activities for the afternoon. The Storytime with Hannah and Patrick show will commence at 13:30 and the craft workshop and activities will run either side. The event is due to finish around 15:30.
There are a number of funded places for this event, so if you would like to access one of these, please reach out to us.
Please note: Only children attending the event need tickets. Accompanying adults go free.
